Pictures that help tell things apart

Space pages include NASA images. Ocean animals and vehicles have distinct illustrations, so a seal looks different from a sea lion, and a school bus looks different from a city bus. Larger discovery boards include 18 different things plus words for comments, questions and choices. Smaller alternatives keep ten topic choices.

These are picture cues for communication. They are not a standardized clinical symbol set. Choose familiar pictures with the communicator and personalize any that need explanation. Space image colors include mission processing, and objects are not shown to scale. The money page uses US coins and simple illustrated bill values; use actual money alongside it for learning.

Dinosaurs with different features

The larger page has 18 types, from Tyrannosaurus rex and Triceratops to Therizinosaurus and Parasaurolophus. Each type has a separate illustration; colors are imaginative. Names and distinguishing features were checked against the Natural History Museum’s Dino Directory.

Say what you want to watch

Choose an app, a favorite show, or a message such as “pause it,” “captions on,” or “watch with me.” These communication buttons say a choice. Open the selected app separately.

The smaller and larger younger-viewer boards now include Morphle, Numberblocks and Alphablocks. Those three use licensed stock photos as visual cues, not show characters or logos. Morphle is a Moonbug title; Numberblocks and Alphablocks are Blocks Universe titles. These owners have not endorsed the pages.

Younger-viewer, family and teen pages offer different interests and conversation choices. Choose by interest and comfortable button size. Check the show’s rating and availability in your family’s profile.

What informed the new topics?

These original supplemental pages draw on communication guidance and topic references. The sources support the approach and vocabulary; they have not evaluated or endorsed these exact boards.

Space pictures and original illustrations

Ocean, vehicle, travel, dinosaur and replacement object illustrations were created for this library with image generation and reviewed for recognizable features. Illustrations are examples, and details may vary from real objects. Space picture sources and contributor credits are listed below.

App and show picture credits

Most identifying thumbnails come from official app listings and title pages. The Morphle, Numberblocks and Alphablocks cues use Pexels stock photos: a red toy bear, number cutouts, and alphabet letters. Names, characters and logos belong to their respective owners. This library is independent and is not endorsed by those owners. The Pexels photos are licensed for this use; the other source links identify promotional artwork and do not grant a commercial reuse license.
